Space Cowboy performing at BBC TV at Glastonbury Festival! WOW!
Who Will Wow At Glastonbury Festival This Year?
From a humble music festival that began in 1970, selling tickets for £1 that included free milk from the dairy farm, Glastonbury Festival has evolved like no other.
As its popularity has grown it has seen its fair share of hippies and die-hard rock fans and now, it attracts entire families. This is perhaps because, unlike other music festivals, Glastonbury Festival doesn’t just invite chart topping bands and singers to perform on its stages.
From Dame Shirley Bassey in 2007 to Dolly Parton in 2014, it’s becoming well known for its Sunday afternoon slot where some of our favourite divas take centre stage. Look back at our Glastonbury Festival favourites and find out which famous name is rumoured to be popping up in Somerset this year…
Dolly Parton in 2014
She first released ‘Jolene’ in 1973 and, almost forty years on, she performed it at Glastonbury Festival 2014.

Blondie in 2014
Formed in 1974, the band performed their best hits at Glastonbury exactly forty years on.
Could it be Diana Ross in 2015?
Now, rumours are circulating that Diana Ross could be gracing us with her presence at Glastonbury 2015.
